ok i was not clear what about the atraction to color ,ect not just atraction to people

In regards to people, romantic attraction is caused by pheramones, genetic similarity and (once you get to know the person) by similarity to yourself. In friends and acquaintances, again it is similarity to yourself. This is partly where racism comes in - if someone does not look/act like you, or comes from a vastly different background you won't be so quick to get close to this person. Another factor in attraction is whether the other person has qualities you wish to develop in yourself, and to what degree. If the other person has far surpassed your own competency in that area, jealousy may arise and have the opposite effect.
As for other things like colours, or scents and soforth, these things stimulate certain moods or feelings and, depending on the desired mood, you will be attracted to the corresponding colour or scent, etc. Scents in particular stimulate memory and you will no doubt respond to them in direct proportion to how pleasant or unpleasant the related memory is.

There is a chemical hormonal change in our brains upon meeting someone we are attracted to.. This lasts for a specific time.. Then if we make it past that threshhold, it develops into long term love and the attraction hormones wear off....
sometimes though it backfires.. once the hormones wear off, we realize the other is not what we wanted and then we move on...

At what age? The causes of attracting are different at different ages.
But personally, when I was young and met my hubby it was a combination of things, his clear blue eyes, the deep tone to his voice, the way he smelled (not his cologne), the way he carried himself. And the way he kissed!!!! I had numerous boy Friends and 2 husbands before him. I don't remember any of their first kisses but I remember my husbands first kiss like it was 15 minutes ago! It was over 30 years ago. I will never for get that first kiss

Thought. Everything on earth was created by thought! Happy events in your life were attracted to you by happy thoughts. Negative events in your life were attracted to you by negative thoughts. Your thoughts cause attraction and you have no control over that, but you do have control of your thoughts!
