I bought it at best buy sunday night right before closing and the middle part of the cd where the circle is to play the CD there is a crack/spilt its broken. Since I opened the package do you think Ill be able to exchange it for a new one, one that's not defective I am going to return it tommorrow (Tuesday)..? I have the receipt.. This has never happend before ..

You wont be able to return it to BestBuy unless you purchased the service plan. However, manufacturers do have a 30 day guarentee on those, so if its busted, they have to replace it.

Hmm, this worked for one customer, you could just try and ***** about how BestBuy handles its merchandise just loud enough for other customers to hear. If a manager is nearby (they will be around customer service, wearing a microphone and have a tag that says "manager"), you might get it back.

Probably depends on the store. I think most stores will let you exchange it for the exact same CD.
