Hole in the wall with great food because you can relax and have fun. But on occasion I prefer fine dining and dressing up.

When me and my husband first married. we used to like to go out and try new restaurants. We went to a fine dining place. it was in a tower on top of a high rise that the whole room had a view of town. I ordered a filet minon steak dinner.. .. It had a piano bar etc... The waiter had a little white towel over his arm, the whole deal etc... .. well.... that was the worst food Ive ever eaten in my life... It looked pretty enough, but the portion was tiny, 2 inch piece of meat that had no flavor, was so rare it mooed.. 2 spigs of greens next to it (was supposed to be my vegetables) and desert was nothing...the whole mess cost around $200... I was so disappointed...
My most favorite restaurant is a tiny 2 room which is a mexican restaurant run by a "legal" immigrant in Texas (wont mention names) he makes authentic mexican food with his wife.. The portions are nice, the flavor is perfect and he loves to bring us other items he wants to get feedback with if he is to add it to his menu.. Great service and reasonable prices.... ... I always.. say "the hole in the wall" is the best...

Definitely a hole in the wall with great food ~ that's the finest dining of all, in my opinion! :)

Hole in the wall, hands down. Fine dining has always seemed so ostentatious to me...I have always been a pizza and burgers girl.
