im spotting. like little brown stuff in my underwear. it's stopping and starting. and i have to go swimming tomorow. should i skip or wear a tampon? or just go swimming without a tampon? cuz it's really little.

If it's really little, you might be uncomfortable wearing a tampon.

It's unsanitary to not take precaution if bleeding, even if it's a little. There are skinny tampons for light days, check 'em out. That is if you don't want to just skip out. Then be sure to wear a pantyliner once you're out of the pool to keep from having to clean the stubborn stains out later.

The chlorine in the pool will kill the germs that's true but it also won't hurt to wear a light or regular tampon. Swimming with it in will not hurt you at all.

Instead of thinking about what to do for your health, think about the health of the others who share your swimming water. Blood is well known for breeding all kinds of nasty germs, and just a little in the swimming water can contaminate it.

Whats the point of worrying enough about this that you need to come on here and ask peoples opinions? Get a light tampon, wear it, and stop having to worry - itll take 3 seconds.
