I guess it depends on what school of astrology. Some will say combination is good, some bad, and others will say a whole lot of "ifs" But really astrology shows to be bias against itself. I'd rather be accepted or not for my own personality than my birthday.

Astrology and horoscopes is SO much more than your Sun sign. The real astrology is so complicated that you need some time to study it and know what it really (and what it isn't). For most people it's way too complicated and that's why so many people stick to the Sun sign astrology and compatibility.

Comparing zodiac signs is really not the way to compare two people for compatibility, even if Swiss and French studies pointed to some statistical results but only a full horoscope analysis containing all the points and planets is the way to go. However, it needs not to be so very complicated at all if you know what to look for in a compatibility analysis: a synastric midpoint analysis with the most exact midpoints (orb 0°00' - 0°02') is almost always stunningly accurate and extremely to the point.

Obviously other factors determine romantic compatibility besides astrology. But I do have to admit that astrology for me tends to be right on most times. My friends and family say the same thing. You shouldn't look just at the Sun Sign because there are so many other factors but it is a starting place. In determining love compatibility you should really look at what sign your Mars is in. I forget what Mars is the house of but I know it relates to family and relationships. Look at Sun Signs but also Rising Signs and Mars. You might want to look at the other planets too.
My mom told me that her Mars complements my dad's and they've been married for over 20 years. My mom LOVES astrology and loves doing everyone's charts and stuff.

I read one for my husband and I last week, and it was incredible to see how correct it was. We are two people that are not so, what you would call, "Categorizable". Well that is not a word, he he, but it seems to fit at 2 in the morning. It matched us to a "T". I was amazed, it was cool, I showed him and we both agreed how weird it was that it had said what it said. In fact, my boyfriends from the past and my husband are all Scorpio, I never understood how that could have worked out that way, but it did. It has to be more than just a huge coincidence. I am not sure on how much they will determine whether the relationship will work out or not, because it would have never worked out with my first love that was a Scorpio. But I love my husband and I am willing to do anything to make things work. Relationships are not easy, especially marriage, but if two people are willing to battle for their love, then anything is possible, even if the two people have zodiac signs that say they would not be good for one another.

this question is really obscure. it really depends on whether you have an open mind to accept different factors and theories. for most guys i know dont believe in anything supernatural other than themselves. initially i only checked compatibilities for fun, but the more you read and the more experience you have, you start to pick up some truth from astrology. in terms of its accuracy i would give it 9/10.

of course you cannot rely everything on sun sign compatibility because it contributes partially to a person's trait. you also need to look at your rising signs, moon signs, venus signs,etc... ultimately you cannot find real comfort in astrology compatibilities, interpersonal relationships really depends on your effort and the emotional connection you have with others.

If you do your homework, very accurate. Nearly everything one reads in newspapers, magazine's, etc., is complete horseshit. I've been studying it for years, and I can count on 1 hand when it's failed me. "Sun Sign, Moon sign" is good, as well as anything by Linda Goodman. I won't say who is a lame astrologer, because that ain't cool. Just try to avoid the easily accessible horoscopes.

Here's my take on love: There's not a single individual out there for someone. Everyone can love many different people (depsite their astrological sign). The thing that causes the relationships to either fail or make it, are the people involved, the time, and the situations of the relationship. I fully believe that the sign has nothing to do with it..............

I read my love horoscope everyday and still apply it to my life. (lol) What can I say....I'm a romantic?

most people i know fit their sign, their personalitys is what mostly fits, my bes friend and daughter are both aries and you get them two in a room together you will wish you didnt, my other daughter is picses and she fits the sign perfect, me im a virgo and i carry some of the virgo qualities but not all of them, Most of my boyfriends tend to be either taurus or capricorn, which is crazy. Ive been with my boyfriend for two years he is capricorn and we match together pretty good, we pick our battles, we know how to say we are sorry, we just know each other and its great. He is my soulmate by astrology, but i think the key to any relationship is you gotta be friends first, friendship last a lifetime.

I do not believe in any of that stuff. My horoscope has never come true nor has it been close to coming true. It is almost as bad as a fortune cookie. My dad did have a fortune cookie once that fit him, but that was about it. Since I do not have a love life, none of those type of horoscopes will come true.
