I am renting a house and all of the flooring is parky wood. I do not want to spend the money to have someone else do the job, nor do I want to sand every tile in the house. What is the best product to use to bring the wood back to life? I have used Murphy's oil soap and it's not doing the trick? Any help will be appericated.

First you need to sweep and mop the floor thouroughly. Then you can go over it with a commercial grade floor wax that you can usually buy at home depot. It's called HIgh Traffic Floor Finish. I strongly suggest that you rent a floor buffer for shining the floor after you wax, otherwise your arms will be SORE! All of this should be available at your local home depot, and no I don't work there!!

I use a product by the name of QUICK SHINE Floor Finish made by Holloway House. First, clean the floor, (I use vinegar wipes by Johnson Wax and a Swifter type mop), let dry. Using a clean, dry cloth (no wax type) on your mop, squirt QUICK SHINE on your floor and spread it evenly. Doing a small area at a time is easiest. This product dries to a very nice shine and is quite resistant to traffic. There is no offensive odor, it doesn't take long to dry (if you don't puddle it) and it isn't that expensive. Best of all, it can be purchased at WalMart as well as several grocery stores. If your floors are really bad, apply a second coat.

I spray Windex on the floor and then wipe up using a washrag on a swiffer. cleans fast and easy with no streaks and leaves a shine.

I think the name you are looking for may be incorrect.
If you were to search on "Parquet Floors" you will have better luck finding websites that will help you.
