depends on what we speak of here. chocolate i take at face value and just enjoy. people, situations i try to look beneath the surface. i want to understand, i want to find good. and i know there are times we all come across in ways we wish we hadn't and appreciate if someone took/takes the time to understand.

I look beneath the surface, always ~ usually I do that without really realizing it. But in some ways, the face value is just as important.

Beneath the surface. NEVER trust anyone/anything on face value. Almost guaranteed you'd be wrong.
