Although your question isnt exactly clear I am assuming you are asking how long do you have to wait after starting pills to be able to have sex & be protected? If that is what you are asking then the answer is 7 days. It becomes fully effective after a week of taking the pills. It says so in the leaflet that come w/ the pills.
It says you only need a back up method for the first 7 days after you start the pills. After that, on subsequent packs you don't need to wait the 7 days as long as you continue to take them as directed.
(looking over some answers above I think some people think you are asking how long will the pill remain effective after you stop taking it.)

This grew to change into into actual even two decades in the previous at the same time as the parts of estrogen were plenty better. So, toss the pills and seem for some nookie tonight.

It depends on what type of birth control your taking, as well as what day in relation to your cycle you started taking it.

Id just play it safe and wait a month.
