He coule be allergic to acetominophen. Try giving him pepto bismol and some ibuprorfren. If he throws up again, take him to the doctor, and if not, take him at a later time to make sure he isn't allergic to APAP (acetominophen....)

My daughter and son had this a couple weeks ago. My son is 2 and daughter is 1. They only puked once in the morning for 3 days and then their diaper turned messy. I think it's just one of those viruses going around. But, then again, I am one of those mother's who know that a fever and getting sick is not a reason to run to the doctor. You might call and talk to a nurse, but as long as their diapers are wet and they are drinking plenty of fluids. Why waist your copay. I have learned that my instincts are better than what I thought. And you will to as time goes on.

If you've been giving him the cold medicine on an empty stomach, it could be a reaction to that. If not, it is probably a stomach virus. You need to contact your doctor's office so they can advise you on the best way to keep him hydrated until he gets through it. They can also let you know the signs of dehydration you'll need to watch for, since babies can dehydrate very quickly.

If this is his first stomach virus - it can be scary (and tiresome) - good luck - hopefully all will be well again in the next 2 days or so.

keep an eye on him. try giving him liquids no solids for now. The main thing is to keep him hydrated. signs of dehydration:sunken eyes or fontanelle(soft spot on his head), dry mouth, dry diaper for more them 3 hours, unusual lethargy or irritability, lack of elasticity of skin, lack or small amount of urine for more then 12 hours......... CALL PHYSICAN NOW if dehydrated
Just keep doing what u have, nights seem to be worse on everyone. If u are still concerned in the morning call his Doc. If his runny nose has any green\yellow thats an infection so call the Doc otherwise every child gets runny noses and its no call for big concern. he could be teething as well to cause the runny nose. throwing up, he could have an upset tummy just keep an eye out so he dont get dehydrated. Dont give milk or formula right now either. give water or clear juice. then wean him back on the milk\formula. all in all if u are really concerned go to the ER. Good luck and God Bless

Whenever your child is experiencing symptoms of a cold or flu and is throwing up everything it is best to check with the pediatrician! He's only 9 months old! It could be anything. Don't take any chances and don't rely on guesswork or quasi-physicians. We are not doctors or nurses.
Do not give that child any further medications until he is seen by a doctor. Period!

Try a little flat coke a cola , you know open a bottle of soda &let it go flat . It calms any nauseau. It also should be room temperature. Stop giving meds for a stuffy nose.Try a vaporiser or some wet towels on a radiator for moisture in the room.If he still vomits after 3 trys of any water or any liquids in him ,go to DR. let them decide whats best. And stop giving over counter meds which sometimes can be harmful without consulting a DR. first.Whatever happened to trying old fashioned natural remedies first ?

My son was recently sick for thanksgiving. He would do the same with the tylenol i gave him. he's 3 months old. he had a stuffy nose and wasnt really eating that much. he also had a fever and cried all the time. he didnt sleep very good. but I gave him Hylands homeopathic pills. I gave him c-plus cold tablets, complete flu care 4 kids. I always have these on hand. He gets better fast when I give these to him. I also used to give them to my niece when she had RSV. she got over that in 3 days with these tablets. They have tablets for different types of things. You should try them. My dr. recommended it and I love them. Good luck!

Does he have a temperature? Is he teething? Does he lay down to take a bottle? Have these symptoms been over 48 hours? All of these things are a factor in your next plan of action. Ultimately, I advise all mothers of any baby I cannot see to call their peditricians. Be careful if he continues to vomit he can become dehydrated.

He may be vomitting from the the mucus in his lungs and stomach. Was he couging? Or it could be the flu. Just keep him hydrated with some water in a bottle or sippy and keep an eye on him for dehydration.

Use saline nose drops and anose syringe for a stuffy nose and just make sure he doesnt get dehydrated, pedialyte works great, they also have generics for it and they will do the same thing. Take his temp. often
