I never lie execpt whenever i feel like it

No sadly not everyone lies...
If someone can't tell you the whole truth then they are lying. Holding back or not telling the WHOLE truth or HALF is just as bad as any other lie. According to the bible.....One sin is as great as the other.
When people hold things back and lie they are hurting people. It's like pretending to be someone they aren't. They are being sneaky...
I hate a liar. Hate is a strong word but I don't have any use for them. Anyone that holds back or lies is cold hearted and has mental problems.

I am not gonna lie i do lie, I try not to but I'm only human i do lie from time to time. I do NOT lie on a daily basis or about serious matters.
On the other hand, I try my best to be the best person i can, lead a good life, do things for others, b their for my family and friends, listen to people when needed, help others. i don't steal I don't cheat on my husband I don't talk about m friends behind their back... so i would hope that balances things out and allows for people to trust me

There are only two reasons to lie.
1) to keep the peace 2) to get your a** out of trouble
I think there is a difference between telling a lie and being a liar, I try to teach my children not to become liars. As a deterrent I say:
If you'll lie,
you'll steal,
if you steal,
you'll kill
and then you will go to hell

Hello, my name is (anonymous - did you think I'd use my real name?), and I have not lied for the last 12 years. I have found that it is easier, and less painful, to tell the truth. And should that truth cause pain to me or someone else, I have found it beneficial to only tell a PARTIAL truth......
REMEMBER - A partial truth is NOT lying, it is merely telling MOST of the truth.....

Everyone Lies..When you feel Bad and someone asks how are you doing...You say"Fine" Thats a Lie! But you dont wanna say..Well My head hurts, I'm tired..Blah, Blah..We all Tell Little White Lies and Great big Whoppers Too!!!

everyone tells little lies here and there... I guess the signifigance of the lies is where the trust comes in.
If I lie about drinking the last coke, but am truthful about stealing your $50, does that make me more trustworthy than someone who would lie about both?
I dunno... Your questions are making me think about what a bad person I have become...

Everyone has lied, or will lie, it's human nature, the real test of charachter is the reason behind the lie. Was it to protect you, or to hurt you?

You are correct, all people of adult age have lied at some time or other to one degree or another. You have to get to know someone, learn their judgment, and grow to trust them.
