okay i am 3 days late now took a pregnancy test from store and it said negative but i am 3 days late if i took a bloodtest today could it still come up postive even though it was negative on a home pregnancy test

Blood tests are much more reliable than home pregnancy tests, so yes it can come back positive, but that doesn't mean it will. There are many many reasons for your period to be late, and three days isn't very late.
I'd wait a week or so and if there is still no period I would either take a test or just go to the doctor. If you take another test youd have to go to the doctor with either result - positive, to confirm it, and because you need prenatal care and/or to discuss all of your options - if its negative, you should go to the doctor to confirm that as well and figure out why your period disappeared.

yes a blood test may give you a different result has it messures the hcg which is your hormone level. The blood test will be able to detect this hormaone where as early a pregnancy test may not. Each day whilst pregnant your hormaone levels double this is why the blood test may be able to tell first. However, you may not be pregnant - you may be under stress from trying to conceive and it may be your bodies way of telling you you need a short break. I can sometimes go up to a week longer waiting for my period. Hang in the girl one way or the other you will know soon. Best of luck x

a home pregnancy test can give you a false negative ( cos the hormone content in your urine is not strong enough for it to detect) but it cannot give a false positive unless you are taking a select number of drugs. a blood test is more accurate but i would advise tou just to wait a while and do another pregnancy test. do it first thing in the morning when your urine is more concentrated. time will tell

yes in a blood test it could be + my sister took a home one and it was negative but she had a blood test and it was positive you just might not be far eough along to take a home test

threre are lots of reasons othr than pregnancy for a late period, such as stress. 3 days is no reason to worry.

if you worry around the time of your periods they can be late try relaxe and if they dont come do another test give another week or so good luck
