The Perfect Storm all of the men would come home
I know its based on a true story but I would still change the ending if I could

I know Joss wanted to do it but couldn't... but if I could change things how I'd want, I would make it happen. He had a story plan for Buffy at the end of the series where she would gain the ability to get one wish granted. The running gag in the show was supposed to be her trying to figure out what to wish for. At the end of the episode she was to have made her wish (off camera) and Willow asks her what she wished for. I believe Buffy was supposed to hold up some clothing article like shoes... Willow's reaction was to the effect of "you could have wished for anything and you wished for that?" And Buffy would reply "No, silly" and she would step aside and Tara would be there.
The other ending I would change was Night Court. Harry deserved to end up with Christine.
