What are ground to possibly disqualify a 1972 wil in NY State, now, in 2006?

If another one was created that supersedes it. If it was destroyed by the person who wrote it with the intent to revoke it.

the ONLY grounds that will get a will made in 1972 thrown out is if the person was of unsound mind when they wrote the will, and that's awfully damn hard to prove.

If is is YOUR will, all you have to do is rewrite it with a lawyer, stating that this new will negates any and all former wills.

If this is you trying to break anothers will, you're stuck with what you got; you can contest it, but likely it will cost you more money, time, emotional stress and family stress than it's worth. Move forward with life and let it go.
