I had a miscarriage that started on 9/28 and I bled a week. my period came on 10/26..well I haven't gotten my period again yet..I don't think I am pregnant again..I just don't "feel" like I am..I started having PMS symptoms about 3 days ago..and my gums have swollen up horrible since yesterday..I have been tired a few days, had some cramping off and on and my breast for sore for like 2 days..now it is gone..I am so confused..I know I had alot of white discharge when I was pregnant..but I had some a few weeks ago, but it has disappeared...so now I am freaking out..what do you guys think? period is just being irregular?? we decided not to try again just yet..so we have been careful..except for once..on 10/28 while I was on my period..we used the withdrawal method. I am just so confused to what is going on with my body!!! Can't get into the doctor until the 7th..

Listen to tAmMiEg (?). Just some good common sense. I'm not an MD either, but I am a Licensed Midwife with years of experience. This is NOT (I repeat) NOT an emergency situation requiring an expensive trip to the emergency room. You are not in any danger! If you suddenly begin to hemorrhage, then go to the ER. You really just need to give your body a little time to heal. It is not at all uncommon for cycles to be a bit irregular following any pregnancy, including one that ends in miscarriage. You can, even if it has NEVER happened to you before, just skip a period. Or it may just be late. Many things, including stress (physical and emotional) effect hormones and how they affect your body. I know it is a lot easier for me to say it than for you to do it, but try to just relax. Go to the doctor as scheduled, it will ease your mind. But in all likelihood you are probably fine, probably not pregnant. (That is assuming you were using reliable birth control except for that one time!)

I'm not a MD but i am a girl who understands ovulation. It looks like to me that since your period started 10/26 and I'm assuming it was about 5 or 6 days and you probably have a cycle around 28 days or so, you probably ovulated around the 11th, 12th or 13th of November. If you had intercourse while on your period you're not ovulating (which is when you can get pregnant-during ovulation). I do know that if you THINK you are pregnant all of the symptoms will start showing their ugly head (sore breasts, discharge, tiredness, etc.)
If I were to bet on this one, i'd say that no, you weren't pregnant. I'm thinking that even if you were it would be WAY too early to see anything on an ultrasound let alone a urine test, maybe blood test but even that might not really show anything since it's soo soon. This is all based on the fact that you are certain that you had a miscarriage. I know two girls that had no idea that they were even pregnant because they had their periods (or what they assumed to be periods) while pregnant.
Okay, well there's my 2cents worth. Good luck. At least it sounds like you would be happy if you were pregnant which is a good thing.

I had a miscarriage and was pregnant again before I even had another cycle. I was waiting for my next period to start back on birth control pills at the advice of my doctor-who wanted us to wait-and was pregnant before that ever happened. Delivered a healthy baby. Call the doctor back and INSIST that they get you in asap, and if they can't then seek your healthcare elsewhere. Doctors keep open appointments for cases that need to be seen immediately. If his staff won't give you one, ask to have the doctor call you back or refer you to someone else.

Girl, you really need to hurry up to the doctor. By this time, your gyno should've seen you. You're not ok and if you become pregnant now, it may not be safe for the baby. GO see a doctor.
