I was thinking of trying to start a "play group" for "inner children" because I think there are a lot of people out there who were abused as children, who grew up but are still hurting and don't know HOW to let their inner child play. There ARE inner children out there who ARE "begging to be adopted" -- and sometimes I wonder if there's a way to help them like that. . . just to be able to play with Barbies or toy cars, in SAFETY and innocence (like they didn't get to when they were an actual child). Getting to play lets the mind finish growing up and developing and helps to let go of the trauma that's stuck. I know this is not the answer i wish i could say , but you got to hug her and tell her you will love her and take care of her , just feel her pain and reassure her , now get some hot chocolate and curl up , best wishes
