Why do conservative Americans and conservative Muslims constantly attack liberals for not agreeing with their war?

It is not the Liberals that oppose the war in Iraq. It is the people that use their brains that oppose the war in Iraq. It is not the war on terror that we should be fighting. It has weakened the real war on terror and those of us that don't drink the kool aid , don't support a trumped up war.

As Country Joe and the Fish once asked: One, Two, Three What are we fighting for???
Isn't a "war" supposed to be about opposing sides? About some sort of difference of opinion, usually about property that someone wants to "own"?
Supposedly our troops were sent in to Iraq to find and destroy the infamous and nonexistant WMD. Then we toppled the Iraqi leader--which was not a "bad" thing per se, but who asked us to do that? What business of ours was it if they had a tyrant for a leader? (There have been many others over the years--many of whom we "supported" with outright good will and funds, or with covert CIA manipulations.)
And, now, as the country nears civil war, we stay there, losing more young men and women daily. Why? Just to thin our population a bit? (Since most of our manufaqcturing is going to China, is this war a way to thin out the available work-age youngsters? Afraid they might turn on the government if there are no jobs???)
What are we doing there???
And on whose authority are we over there?
The Iraqis never wanted Westerners--who don't understand the Arabic mindset anyway (and who think that we are better, stronger, more moral, more righteous, and believe in the "right" God)--to mess in their politics.
For all of the people in this country who think that the Middle East is full of stone-age barbarians: Look at the history of the world!! See how much of our present day culture is the direct product of the ancient people of Arabia!! (How 'bout those Arabic numerals, eh?) How dare we look down on those people who have had a civilization for thousands of years before a white man ever stepped foot on "American" soil??!!?
Once again, WHAT ARE WE DOING THERE???

3 years ago a case could have been made to depose Saddam and bring a western style democracy to the region. Now- it's pretty clear it was a bad idea. Supporting the war at this point doesn't have anything to do with being conservative or liberal, it's merely people unwilling to open their eyes and admit that they were wrong.

It was an idealistic idea, sold under false pretenses, poorly managed, and now proven to be a horrible mistake.

For pretty much the same reason that nearly half of the conservative "base" now opposes it as well. People who open their eyes eventually see.

America need the oil to flow to maintain the present economic
system in which America has supremacy. Conflicting Muslim
societies there want to control the oil and therefore supremacy in
their region. As long as new leaders there agree to American
supremacy there would be less problem. But they don't accept.

Liberal purists anywhere are against any form of controls. They
think there is enough for every one, so why fight??

Because they are not bought and paid for as the Conservatives on both sides are. Always follow the money.

"as a substitute of in basic terms battling them, we could continuously acutally attempt to make your ideas up their motives (not your freedom dammit)." Ugh, how naive can one get? "Taliban returned - they already advised Canada that they don't choose us to be enemies and could bypass away us on my own if we withdraw, which we did not of path. " prepare what you pontificate. attempt to make your ideas up their motives in why they choose us to withdraw. have you ever figured that out? Do you particularly take them at their word that they are going to bypass away us on my own? Do you particularly think of their motives are organic? And what are their motives if we do withdraw? Why, they plan to do what they did formerly: Tyrannically rule all of Afghanistan. Sheesh, it substitute into naive human beings such as you that had the comparable sentiments related to hitler. and seem at how that grew to become out.
