Yes I have and I played the role like everything was fine out in public and behind closed doors I was a mess. I cried for no reason and stopped taking phone calls from friends and never left my house nor let any one in. I can say that I'm finally coming out it and realizing that you can't do it alone. You really do need positive people in your life and you need prayer. When yo surround your self with positive prayful people who truley have your best interest at heart that tends to bring you out of your funk. I'm thankful everyday for my life and for God giving us Jesus. Be thankul for you life and for having this moment to make a difference. I think if you actually find soemthing to make your life meaningful whether it's voluteering in a food bank or just giving back to the community in some way; it should make you feel happy and blessed and hopefully help you realize that your life is great. You're alive you have access to a computer, you can read as well as write. Just that right there makes you better off than a whole lot of people. Love yourself and love your life right now because you never know when it may end; so give them something to talk about. I love you in Christ and I wish you healing and blessings.

yes. for a long period last year i felt there was no point even waking up in the mornings. i wasn't suicidal or even particularly depressed, but i had no motivation or aspirations to do anything. i was pretty much dead in a way, because for that stretch of time i never really felt happy, sad, angry or anything at all emotive.

it was actually a really confusing time in my life because i had no direction, i didn't care about what happened to me. the only time i felt close to content would be just before i fell asleep because the only thing i had to do was dream. most of my time was spent alone, & when i was with friends i felt like a fraud.

eventually uni started & i found myself excited about just having something to do & somewhere to be. i did some volunteer work for a local community centre. i feel like i had let my time pass by without assessing how best to spend it. i still find myself doing this, but then i try to enjoy the present rather than live for what the future might be.

the ability to find fulfilment in everyday is an incredible thing, & not everyone (even those who are 'happy') is able to do it. it's not merely about making yourself useful, but to stop existing & just start living.

Yes when I started my new birth control pills yasmin they made me very depressed and I cryed for no reason. No I'm just playing in a sense but yes their has been a time when I felt really depressed and alone then I found Jesus. And after that I felt as if their was meaning to life. I'm being serious no joke maybe you should sit down and download this song from limewire its called ( he understands my tears) by the Issacs. I don't know whether you like gospel music at all or if you even believe in a God out their. but if you download it just listen to the words and see what you think of it.

Yes, sometimes... we can mistake depression, emptiness for possible contentment. But if this is happening alot if might be a good idea to challenge yourself with learning something new... changing up your routine, getting a hobby, or starting to meditate.

That feeling you are having could be many things... search yourself and really contemplate on it, and you will come to the answer. Or you might what to enjoy it as peacefulness. Just a thought.

I have about 5yrs ago I would drink on a daily basis, just to try ti get away from feeling sad, but let me tell you that emptyness inside can swim. Then my sister told me to go to with her to a christian church in west Covina i think it was just what i needed. That day the pastor talked about loneliness and how it cause depression and i felt as if God was talking to me. Try to go to a local church or ask for prayer on www.TBN.com. Pastor John Hagee is a great pastor that has preached about what youre feeling. God is the asnwer to all your problems. The bible says he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Yep, it is called depression. The good news is that you can go to the doctor and get help, which I really hope that you will. You don't have to feel empty all of the time. Also, faith helped me fill the void that I had within me, so there is a place for you to start! Good luck, God Bless.

Yes, is when i forgot thinking of God. You know, my religion, which is islam, i must pray 5 times a day..It feels like meditation for me and give time to rest my mind from the complicated world.. All i can feel just peace ad there's nothing to worry about.

I think God is so generous to let his humans meet him that much.. Humans can tell all things and when the time comes, he'll give us what we need (not what we want)..

In my case I had reason,. but there doesn't have to be. Beware of depression if it becomes too bad get help. Personally I recommend cardio exercise, the release of endorphins seems to counteract whatever chemical thing is causing the depression.

YES I have felt that way more than once in my lifetime. I suggest you take a nice long walk and sit under a tree and pray for the Good Lord to lift your spirts.
