Perfectly normal. You should only really start worrying if the lumps change in colour, size or become itchy, painful, or (as gross as it is), start filling or bursting like spots.
It's very likely that they were there to being with and presumably you had no problems before. It's really only until we become sexually active that we start to pay more attention to our bodies. And, in my opinion, it's only until we become sexually active that our bodies finally reach the peak of puberty - we still have parts of the body that change until then.
Please use contraception if you aren't already, and check that your partner doesn't also have these lumps or is itchy or sore. The best thing to do is that if you are unsure, or are worried, get it checked out by a doctor. Your doctor will not laugh at you or think you are silly for taking an active interest in your health and wellbeing, and will likely commend you for being on the safe side.

I don't know how old you are, but you shouldn't be having sex. Chances are there is nothing wrong with you at this time. It sounds more like a form of acne.
You are rightly concerned and self conscious about having sex, but your concerns should more rightly be centered around the possibilities of pregnancy and the other things that can happen when you have sex out of marriage.
You should see a doctor to be sure, and never be afraid of being thought silly for asking questions you don't know the answer to. It is unintelligent to risk a health problem because you are afraid of asking about symptoms you are unfamiliar with. Doctors are sensitive to these concerns, so don't be afraid of being laughed at.
And be very careful about having sex.

There are two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2. Both virus types can cause sores around the mouth (herpes labialis) and on the genitals (genital herpes). Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Cold sores sometimes called fever blisters, are groups of small blisters on the lip and around the mouth. The skin around the blisters is often red, swollen, and sore. The blisters may break open, leak a clear fluid, and then scab over after a few days. They usually heal in several days to 2 weeks.
The herpes simplex virus usually enters the body through a break in the skin around or inside the mouth. It is usually spread when a person touches a cold sore or touches infected fluid—such as from sharing eating utensils or razors, kissing an infected person, or touching that person's saliva. A parent who has a cold sore often spreads the infection to his or her child in this way. Cold sores can also be spread to other areas of the body.

Go see a doctor just to be safe. He/she wont think you're silly, they see people like you all the time. Have a list of all the "silly" questions you'd like answered and then ask them! Get your money's worth and put your mind at rest. The others that have answered are right about needing to see a doc. regularly once you become sexually active. Good luck!

Judging by the explanation, it could be your body's way of reminding you to use some punctuation!
Otherwise, what is the embarrassment about being told by the doctor that it's normal? Doctors would much rather do that than be puzzled by something beyond their experience. Besides, if it IS important, or could have been, would you feel embarrassed then?
People really need to swallow their pride and see their doctors rather posting here. THEY are the experts.

If these are on the outside of your labia, where there is pubic hair, the likelihood is that these are just pores or hair follicles with an overabundance of sebum, which is normal secretion. Particularly if you see that they are similar to small white dots around your mouth. You may want to try to gently extrude the matter. What you describe is not like any form of venereal disease.

Don't mention your question to your doctor if you feel embarrassed, but you could ask if a regular gynecological check ups would be recommended from now on, and how often, if you plan to have a normal sex life. It should prompt your doctor to do the check up, or to refer you to a gynecologist, either way you'll get the answer to your question from someone who knows. Good luck.

Ok, so it doesn't matter who has had sex before or not. You should ALWAYS use a condom, you don't want to become pregnant or end up with an STD. Birth Control isn't always 100% effective, so you can't be too careful. To the question, you need to go and see a doctor. You need to talk to your parents, but you can always go to your local health department, they can test you, set you up with birth control, and they give you condoms. Just please, for your sake, and your family's, talk to someone! Hope all goes well
