I want to fast and pray for the people of Iraq and for the soldiers ,would anyone of you like to join me and pray on 28th Nov for the peace and protection of the people in Iraq .

That's nice of you say this because there are a lot of dying people in iraq and war is not good for either side. In war everybody loses. What have we learned from two world wars that have passed. More misery, more problems and whole lot of dead people.
Your intention is in the right place but where it matters is the action you take to stop the ongoing war or to prevent a future war.
You see a lot of activists that are against the war who protest all the time. This is a form of public awarness and the only way to let the government know our opposition towards it.
Unless we take action as drastic as these it will all be in some paperwork at a beauracratic facility collecting dust.
We are citizens of a country who have diverse views on what goes on in our world and fighting for our beliefs is all the power we have before we all ash away.
If we leave it alone then the suffering will continue and our lives will remain just as mundane.

Yes, too many people have perished in Iraq. Islam is a culture of death. Pray for the Government, the military, and the people.

Yes, I will join you. I am very disturbed about our nation killing thousands of Iraqis who never did anything to us. Of course I am disturbed that our own soldiers are dying too, in what I think is an all around tragic stupid situation. I will pray with you.
