I am having a hard time with a class that is critical for me to get into university and am trying to look at the big picture...'Why?'. For me, if everything goes as plans...it would be for me to help people and motivate those in need...

I am hoping to get into a nursing program, and eventually either into med school or into a managment nursing degree (MD of nursing). The joy and knowledge that I have been helping people would be the #1 priority, the rising pay in the job is just bonus. I do volunteer very often, while having a part-time job and participating in sports. The class is Calculus...figures. The one class that is you cannot try to stub the teacher with questions. Somehow it all happends to work against you...

There are always obstacles and speed bumps in life. So often we see an expected outcome but not the less enjoyable tasks and events it takes to get there. Although it is extremely fulfilling to endure the tough stuff, stick it out and arrive at that expected outcome. It makes arrival all the sweeter. Hang in there, take the good with the bad, you will develop character and strength through this. Continue to focus on where your going, not where you are and you can have fulfillment in any circumstance. Good luck.

I believe it must be the moment you do something for others without expecting anything at all in return, yet making you feel so happy. The moment when you find there is something out there that is bigger than life. The moment when you feel full--not empty. The moment you find life is great and you don't even know why.
As of why I wake up in the morning...I have no idea. What a good question! I will be working on that one.

My most fulfilling aspect of my life is my education. I'm a married mother of two children, and I'm getting an education to make a better life for my family.
I get up in the morning because I have a goal that I want to accomplish. From what I can see of your viewpoint, it's the same thing. You have a goal to help people and to motivate those in need. By writing this paper, you are attempting one of the steps necessary to achieve that goal - an education to prepare you for your future.
Good luck to you. We need all the help we can to make this world a better place.

Hun my reason for living is my children. But if i was able to finish my nursing degree i would be able to give them a better quality of life. You need to take it one day at a time and remind yourself that this class will be over with soon and that your career in what you wanna do with your life will be ahead of you. If it is a boring class try to figure out a way to stump the teacher at what he or she is teaching. I aced my hard class that way and i did stump my teacher. I hope this helps

For me it would be my children and faith. Obviously you don't have children, so I would look to other meaningful things in your life. Your parents, religous life if you have that, any volunteer work you do, even babysitting, or your pets.
If you mean helping people then give some concrete examples of how you have done that and how you intend to do so in the future, especially once you are well educated. Don't forget all those service projects you could work on while in school.
Hope that helps a little.

Right now, the most fulfilling aspect of my life is motherhood. I had a baby in July, and I am learning things about myself that I didn't know existed. I am also developing traits that weren't too abundant before she came, like patience and humility. I'm a stay at home mom right now, so she's my main concern. Simply put...I wake up in the morning for her.

I get up in the morning because after 5 hours the pain medication wears off.
Stick with your studies, you will have more options perhaps that way.
Don't worry about the "big picture", that's the one they use crayons on.

In order for me to get where I need to be, I must do things that are dull and boring. The reward is down the road
