I am 33 yrs old, no drugs, alcohol, but got so sad when my husband flew abroad for work, after a month got a miscarriage with my 3 week old baby inside. No pain felt but blood stains every other day existed until i've found thru ultrasound that the baby has no heartbeat. No explanation was given by my OB.

normaly what causes a misscarrage is that the particular baby wasn't suppose to be born. The sperm that was implanted have a defect and when your body recegnizes that, that's when you have a misscarrage. So it's not your fault nothing you could have done could have prevented it. If a baby does get carried to term that was meant to be misscarried it will normally have birth defects.

By the way, it is clear that a couple of you have never gone through this to blame a mom that is hurting is both insensitive and out of place, please don't casually throw advice around on such a sensitive and emotional subject when you have no idea what you are talking about, this is not just about answering questions and getting points someones emotions are at stake. Stress and age and weight did not cause this painful loss. Your body was correcting an abnormality in the baby that in heaven does not exists. Rest assured your baby is healthy and happy there. Just think about the kids who are born in Africa under such intense circumstances, my son is from Africa and he is alive and healthy despite being subjected to various disease, parasites and starvation from conception and I am sure his birth mom had a lot more stress than most of us do what with all the rape and starvation and trying to survive and all. Hang in there.
I have had 4 misscarriages I know the pain I really do. I now have 2 healthy babies born naturally at home, and two babies born in my heart through adoption, Africa and China, God bless.

By the way, google blited ovum that is a common reason for misscarriage. Your doctors should be more helpful, you might even try and find a support group online, I know it has helped many of my friends.

Miscarriage in most cases are unexplained, you both may have seemed to be in good health, but for some reason your body may reject the pregnancy or, the baby might have had some possible birth defects, those things we will never know. I lost my baby about 4 weeks ago and I was about 5.5 weeks along, and Im a pretty healthy person, it's just one of those things. It hurts both physically and emotionally, but if it doesnt kill you, it will make you stronger, God Bless.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I've had 3 miscarriages, 4weeks with the 1st, 16weeks with the 2nd(twins), and 4weeks with the 3rd, The only explanation they gave me was, something may have been wrong with the egg or the sperm and made the fetus abnormal, or your body just couldn't sustain it. Again I'm very sorry for you loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss-I have had an early miscarriage too and I know how devastating it can be. Most of the time it is caused by a congenital abnormality or improper implantation-not by anything the mother did.

Usually it means that there was something wrong with the fetus, it's health, and your body naturally terminated it. It is a immensely sad thing to happen, and I am sorry that you have had to go through the pain and loss. Hang in there and keep trying....

stress and extreme emotinal distress will cause a miscarriage also your age might be a factor but i doubt that

I was told after my m/c at 12 weeks that the fetus was probably growing abnormally and had to many or not enough chromosomes

Most women loose their baby before 12 weeks due to chromosomal abnormalities. The baby probably was not developing correctly.

Often times they do not know, it usually was somehting wrong with the baby and that was a way of ridding itself. It is sad, and i think you can better understand how detrimental abortion can be, b/c even as early as you were it was a baby!

I am so sorry! God be with you!
