Tallest Buddha statue to be ready in 3 years in Sarnath Situated 10 kilometre away from Varanasi, Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha is believed to have delivered his first sermon in 500 B.C. Workers at the site tell, the statue will use over 635 blocks of sandstone and will be made in the Gandharva style of art, which lays great significance to it.
