I keep buying great fitting jeans (i am a male) from h&M and other mid-market stores. They always fit great and I get tones of compliments on them, however the moment I wash them they never keep fitting the same way! Has anyone else experienced this problem? It's really getting frustrating!!! Any tips on how to keep the original fit in jeans?

usually wash them inside out and a friend of mine puts them on wet so they conform to his body . or you need to get a different cut for you

Jeans always get tigher when you dry them in the dryer i fyou can not afford to get you jeans dry cleaned let them air dry after wahing them instead of putting them in the dryer...or this has a little more labor in it but try and find an old wash board and wash you jeans by hand...that way they always fit right. Also if you have trouble with fadin wash your jeans in cold water.

If you love them, only wear them when you want to look especially hot, and not outside to play with dog. That way you won't have to wash them all the time, and when you do, use the gentle cycle on cold water. Turn them inside out to keep the color. When they go in the dryer use the lowest heat setting, and it's best to pull them out when slightly damp to finish on the hanger. (Give your jeans space to dry while on the hanger.)

Don't wash your jeans after EVERY wear. If the jeans don't have any visible stains or they don't stink, then don't wash them. (People can't tell ;], and if it ain't broke don't fix it!)

As for shrinking it's primarily caused by the dryer. So let your jeans air dry (hang them over the shower or something). It will take longer, but hey! The life is extended!

ok i have been through this before.here are solutions:

1)look on ur jean's tags and it will tell u exactly how to wash it.or try dry cleaning.

2)also,don't clean ur jeans after every wear, wear them until they get a showable stain on them.so that would mean almost a week maybe.it all depends on how clumsy you are.

3)get bigger sizes.get a size bigger than u are and when they shrink they will be just right.

4)Wash ur jeans inside out(i often forget to do that)

~Good luck!

Look for clothes that are pre-shrunk/washed. When you get them home, wash them with mild detergent, on cold, on a gentle-wash cycle, and whatever you do, do not dry them! This is when all the shrinking/stretchnig out happens.

Wash in-side out in cold water. Line dry in-side out as well. Don't iron!!! When you first put them back on, do a couple of squats to get them back into your shape.

try by not keeping them in the dryer too long or dry on the clothes line out side..or inside on hanger.
