You can get no slip grips for the soles of your shoes. I tend to put these on my heals to that they don't slip on tile and hardwood floors. You can pick these up at any shoe store or at any common drug store. For support for your foot or to to handle your discomfort to the soles of your feet you can use a Dr. Scholls insert. They ave them for the balls of your feet, the heel of your foot, or an entire insert. I like the high arch support whole sole support inserts. Although I should mention that if you have a dog you should pull them before you put your shoes away. For some reason every person I know that uses them and has a dog has had at least two pairs chewed up. All of the mentioned items cost between 2 and 12 dollars and are readily available at drug stores.
