i met a guy the other day who had to do 3 months in prison because he was caught having looked at at pornsite with children on it repeatedly. another time i met a guy who had been in for 2 years for looking at it once. how does the law system rate this crap? those kids were younger/prettier/from a diffrent country/black white or mexican? wtf? i think all who are found guilty for the act of looking at kiddy porn should be shot dead and buried without any honoring.i mean is a few months in jail enough? really?

The law and thus the punishment for possession of child pornography varies from State to State and at the Federal level. In some States, like California for example, it is only a misdemeanor. I agree, possession of child pornography should carry stiffer sentences. After all, what child pornography actually is are images of child sexual abuse-a photograph or video of a crime in progress-the rape or molestation of a child. Creating a market for it by possessing it only encourages the continuation of the crime.

No. Those people have mental issues. Not that I am condoning child pornography but it's the same as those who have sadistic, masadistic, or homosexual urges. It sexually arrouses them whether they like it or not. A better thing to do is give them psychiatric consoling so they can overcome their perverse desires. Although some kind of jail sentence should still be applied

I don't think that the law has gone away in California. People break laws and rules and if they happen to be on tv when doing it then ratings go up. Its called life.

I think there is nothing worse than anyone who would harm a little child. Anyone who expresses that sort of desire needs to be put down like the dirty dog they are!!

the answer is money, you have the money you can get away what ever you want to. The better lawyer you have, the better chance for a lesser crime. I do agree with you what should happen to them.
