Get him a soft dark button up shirt and a bottle of nice cologne, something you like the smell of. Its what I got last year and was the perfect gift of my Christmas because I think of her when I wear them.

Get him a nice wallet (maybe coach) and put pics of you and your kids inside. It will remind him of you guys when he is away. He will use it more then once a day so he will think about you LOTS!!! I got my boyfriend (now husband, I gave him the Wallet he gave me a ring that year) for Christmas 2 years ago.

The best things are priceless.

Try making something from the heart. A poem... a card... anything. It shows how much effort you put into it and how much you care for him. He'll absolutely love it. : }
