how to do mail merge with XL SALE PURCHASE DATA?

I know mail merge in worrd, but deferent letters to go with defernt XL data like:
sold to sale value in Rs,
santosh 100.00
santosh 250.00
rajesh 500.00
rajesh 800.00
kamal 300.00
I want to make the letters linking to mail address with XL sales data. that means mailing to santosh and rajesh with their sales data. Is it posible?

You state you know mailmerge in Word: after you setup the Word document as a mailmerge form letter, and after you "get data" in the mailmerge helper, put the fields into place in the letter.

I don't have the structure of your datafile, but if you want to send a letter to each salesman with the amount of his sales, wouldn't you want a column where his/her sales were totalled for a specific period of time as opposed to two or more totals per salesman?
