I don't know if they are laughing, but I'm sure they think the man an idiot for blowing Iraq wide open so they could stream in unchecked in all of the extreme confusion and mess and set up shop in a place they never were in the first place. The irony never fails to strike me when Bush yammers on about squelching the terrorism in Iraq - he's the one who opened Iraq's door for them in the first place.

I don't think there's a lot of laughing going on in their groups- but the results of Bush's foreign policy has certainly had that very effect. Or- at least as determined by the white house's investigation council which included 16 separate organizations, each of whom independently came to that same conclusion.

no. They are inflamed at the US foreign policy and are very upset. The US is using this whole terrorism thing as a scam to put forward their foreign and economic policy. They are not Laughing.things are very bad in Iraq and the people want the US out. the US is not giving them democracy, stability, or even basic water, food and electricity as advertised. They are however helping themselves to the oil and they know it.

First of all, how do you know they have become strengthened? A lot of the terrorists we have been fighting in Iraq were already trained in Iraq before the invasion.
I think the terrorists were surprised by Bush's reaction. For years, the US didn't react or terrorism, or backed down like in Lebanon and Somalia. So no, I don't think they are laughing.
Well, now they are with Nancy Pelosi in charge of the House.

I don't think they are laughing at him--I think the "mistakes" he has made are exactly what the terrorists have expected all along. They have a pretty terrible opinion of the US and its people, so they expect us to f-up all the time.
No, it is we citizens of the US who are laughing, whenever we're not crying, over some dumb-a** thing he has said or done.

Terrorist organizations are laughing at him since those groups are still growing. The US is imposing its ideals and views on nations where the US is not liked. That is the reason why these groups are still growing and laughing at him. we should just leave those countries alone and let them govern themselves as they please.
