Hello Panira,

First off, congratulations on getting such a cool Mac! The Apple web site has a support area on it's web site:

http://www.apple.com/macbook/

Click on the Support tab and you can read all sorts of things about your Mac and it's Operating System. As for books on the subject, there's Mark L. Chamber's "MacBook For Dummies" that might be just what you're looking for:

A lot of people like Robin William's (not the comedian) "The Little Mac Books" for explaining the Macintosh in simple, easy-to-understand ways. Peachpit publishes her books and you can check them out here.

I personally like David Pogue's Missing Manual series of books. Check out his web site here:

Finally, there your own Macintosh for finding information. Get your MacBook on-line and then hit the Help > Mac Help menu command. Type in a question and your Mac's help program will try to answer your questions for you.

Time, I think just using it you will discover new things all the time. It is similar though not the same as windows. Just play around with it for a little while. That is how I learned to use the macs at school. The teacher let us loose and just told us to make sure we had our videos done on time. Maybe find someone that can show you a couple quick tricks to get around a little quicker. For me I have read up on stuff but I don't normally remember it anyways. If you have a specific question i would google it.
