Ah, the oldest 'gotcha' joke....Yes England does have a 4th of July, as does every country on the planet. It's just that we celebrate our country's Independence Day on July 4th. What other countries do on July 4th is up to them. ;-) Nice try though.

Yes, its a day on their calendar. But as a holiday it is not celebrated. They wouldn't celebrate their defeat at the hands of some colonists. I've heard this puzzle so many times. Its made me think. Not anymore though.

no.. They weren't colonized by anyone so they have nothing to celebrate unless the celebrate American beating them like they stole something and surrenderign to us
