If you work in an area where there are homeless people hanging around, is there a policy on what to do?

If so, does your company enforce this policy only when the people enter the place of business?

no. loitering is illegal. it is illegal to 'hang around' somewhere. they should have 'no loitering' signs to deter this and people can be arrested/ticketed/removed for doing it.
