My girlfriend is very curious on why do babies get the hicups in the womb?

Babies drink and swallow amniotic fluid while in the womb. They get the hiccups the same way we do.

the baby is practicing its breathing and swalloowing. Being that there is only fluid in there, it hiccups. Guess what, at 38 weeks, your baby can cry in the womb.

Babies swallow the fluids (whick also contains there pee ewww) and they also are growing so they get them i read it in a magizine called "as your baby grows" when i was pregent with my baby i wondered the same thing how ironic?

that brought a smile to my face this is one question i have been consumed with my self im not sure but interested to know too ,HIC UPS IS NOT ALL THEY GET,THEY SUCK THERE THUNMBS AND THEY CRY IN THE WOMB TOO,
