Check out yahoo answers on wikpedia. It lists people such as Steven Hawkings(which was a really good question that got many people thinking) and Cindy Crawford. Recently I saw Martha Stewart and Oprah. It's becoming quite popular. I've seen the official green thing on Y! Canada News Editors. The question was "What would you like to ask the Liberal party of Canada leadership candidates?" I wish I knew more about Canadian politics, otherwise I would have answered it. It seemed like an important question, but I could be wrong.

I can remember Jay Z - he asked something about conserving water.
There was Hillary clinton the other day - she asked soemthing about thanksgiving.
William Shatner was on but I can't remember what he asked.
Martha Stewart as well, but also can't remember what she asked.
Al Gore was on here - he asked about how we can improve the world by watching out for weather going bad and the greenhouse effect.
Bono of U2 has asked how can we eradicate poverty in the world.
Plus Stephen Hawking with a science question.
That's all I can remember.......

There aren't many with the "official" designation, but there are hundreds who come here for comic relief and material under assumed names. Also politicians who are trying to get a clue.

The featured ones you see are a one-time-only gig. I even think they might have to "sponsor" their question to be a featured one. I do however think that there are lots of famous people here BUT, I doubt they would expose themselves because that would defeat the purpose of being able to interact as normal people... to be able to bs and not being quoted on it later... to be politically incorrect.... etc.
