I'm trying to decide on Xmas gifts for my nephews (boys: age 4 and 5). I don't have a lot of money to spend, so I was thinking of getting them some ps2 games (my parents just purchased a ps2 for the boys at their house). What are some good games for the kids? Since they're pretty young, I'd like a game that isn't too frustrating for them, but is fun.

My nephews have tons of books, actually. Playing video games once in awhile doesn't make a child lazy or "stupid". Heck, I played Mario all the time as a kid and I turned out just fine. I haven't been to prison, I don't have 5 kids, nor am I on Welfare. Video games can teach children coordination, strategy, and some are even educational. They only become a problem when the child relies on it solely for his or her entertainment or when the parents use the video games as a "babysitter".

Good games for 4 and 5 year old boys:
Hopscotch
Tag
Red Rover

Hello....why do 4 and 5 year olds need to be sitting in front of a flashing box? This is why teachers can't get them to pay attention! If you want to give them something, give them a BOOK.

My nephew is five, and plays Burnout (all of them) and the Sonic games. I have no idea how the controls work, so I don't know if it might be frustrating or not.

Best of luck to you ^^
