ok. i read it for my gt class too. it was stupid, but its about some boy named gene and his best friend finney. finney broke his leg and gene feels that he let finney broke it. they live in the same dorm and go to a school named Devon. they had to go to war. i dont noe the rest. didnt read the rest. didnt matter though cuz my english class didnt ask too many questions about it.
