I take it you're a guy asking this question, because for a woman, it's obvious. Yes, yes you can. Whether or not you should, is the REAL question. I think it's an inbred thing biologically for girls--we instinctively know love and sex are not the same things. And we inherently know that men are terrible at separating the two and will spend most of their lives being hypocritical about both. Think about it. If this was your girlfriend asking the very same question, how would YOU feel? Or now, what if it was your best buddy, how then? See the difference? You know the answer to the question. Seems to me like you're looking for the only way men can make love and sex the same--validation. Sorry I can't be the one to give it to ya.

It is possible to make love to someone you don't love while keeping your love for someone else, but it means that you do not completely and totally love the someone else. The difference is in how you interpret make love and the purely physical act of sex, since they are not the same.

Oh that is a tricky one. Well see it is possible to have sex with someone while in love with someone else, but you should be carefully because as you continued to sleep with that person you may develop feelings for that person which could put you in a worse situation than you are already in

I dont believe you can MAKE LOVE with someone other than the person you love and have that connection with. You might have some personal connection with the other person or maybe it's just lust. Truly not making love just sex.

Yes it is. It is our own selfishness and lack of self control to have sex with someone we do not love. Especially if you are married. There is more that happens when someone has sex with another. If you want more info let me know. It will be from the bible just to warn you.

Poor Tracer,
It sad to say, but there are people out there who do that and I dont think they REALLY know what love is! Making love is special and it should be with the one you really love. Its like eating a piece of cake and waiting for the ice-cream to be brought out/or the milk for that matter. Why do people do STUPID things!

No, it means you don't really love the other person. It means you love yourself most of all. No one should want to be with someone that selfish. That is someone VERY full of lust, and desire, and wanting what they want ,when they want it, no matter what the cost. Stay FAR away from people like that. Let them selfdestruct. Someone who really loves, shouldn't waste their love on someone like that.

Yes..I believe so..but don't you feel guilty for doing it. And what if the one you love makes love to someone else..how would you feel..put yourself in the one you loves shoes. It's just thewhole meaning of things I guess.

To me, it's only making love if you love the person.

Yes, the physical act doesn't have to be connected to the emotions- but the person you love will get angry if you're in any sort of relationship with them.
