youll need a dvd ripper. you can download an imtoo one (just search imtoo dvd ripper on yahoo) and then find a serial number from either seriall.com or typing "imtoo dvd ripper serial number" on yahoo. instructions on how to use the ripper can be found on the imtoo site

There are several programs that can convert from DVD to an editable file such as dvddecrypter though they are illegal. however, once you have a file in mpg or avi format, you can use windows movie maker to edit the clip.

Nero works great for this. I use Nero 7 Ultra Edition.
