Oh oh oh, me!!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely hate that holiday, It is completely maddening. For the people in relationships who have to make sure everything is perfect and then everyone is disappointed when it isn't. And for the people who haven't found that special someone yet, it is plain out painful to watch everyone else gushing on and on about love, it isn't fair to the people who aren't in love. And it is just another excuse for the candy makers to get some extra money off those heart shaped candy boxes.

I kinda like the celebrations I plan with all my single friends. We hang out at the mall and take advantage of the sales, watch old action movies and play video games. We've had more fun than some of the couples I know.

I don't like it and refuse to accept gifts on that day. I feel my husband and I should love and treasure each other every day, and I resent the Hallmark company telling me that I should love him more on this particular day than any other. Romantic gestures ought to be spontaneous, not choreographed by retailers.
