I am a sophmore in highschool and i live in WI i wouldnt mind going out if state for school but i would like an idea of some colleges to look into . I want a career in the medical field something like a plastic surgeon or an ER surgeon maybe even soemthing int he nursery im not sure yet ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but i want some good schools i have pretty good grades and i work hard in science im in biology right now and for math i am in Algebra 2 so any specific classes i should take for sure would be good too thanks in advance

You will need good grades in High School to get into a top college, but more important, you have to get top grades from your first year in College and also get involved on the side with school projects or do some social work near by. The Med schools want more than a 4.0. You can select any decent accredited Med school and you will do well, if you want the top schools for surgery you may want to look into New York, Cleveland, Los Angeles, or Houston. But surgery is a very tough field, Often it's a seven year residency after med school.

Medical university of South Carolina. Its in charleston SC where you can have alot of fun in your off time, its a decent school, plus its not super expensive.
High school doesnt matter...period. Don't let your teachers tell you different. Im not saying do bad in high school, but dont stress yourself out. An A-B average with no stress is better than an A average when you are neurotic, plus you will be plenty stressed out in college
Now under graduate is a different story!!! To get into med school you need to bust your *** during college, plust start studying for the MCAT when you are a sophmore in college.

Johns Hopkins in Baltimore is a top med. school. So is Harvard. The U. of Pittsburgh has an outstanding School of Medicine.

Theres loyola university and northwestern that have pretty good reputations. Actually go to usnews. com
Its a magazine and they do these annual best schools spread. they will have the top 100 listed. Or go to yahoo and type 100 best universites and it will bring up usnews. Thats what I did and they give you a lot of info.
