Yes it hurts. It's called a sunburn for a reason, because it burns. Then once the skin starts to peel it itches like crazy. Also black people can get sunburns as well, you just wouldn't see it like you would on a white person.

Black people can get sunburn too, it just does not show up at first. But of course their skin can burn in the sun. You can burn your finger on a hot stove , can't you? Same thing. A burn is a burn, whatever the source. Very dark skin does not get sunburned as rapidly as light skin, but it definetly can be sunburned.

Yes, it does hurt to get a sunburn. Especially if you are very fair skinned. Its like a rash almost, where your skin gets tight and tingly and even the slightest touch of anything makes you hurt. It's hard to sleep even like that. Hope that helps. Btw, I thought everyone burns, just in different degrees???

It feels the same as a sun burn that a black person will get. Crawl out from under that rock & get some....sun that is.

Yes, it hurts. I've gotten burned so bad a couple of times that my skin blistered. Or if it is a light burn, it feels hot.

Very lucky! Trust me, it hurts! Have you ever burned your finger and it hurt for several days. Imagine that all over your back!

It hurts but it doesn't feel like a burn from, say, a hot stove. It feels more like the skin is too tight, or like pins and needles.
BTW, regardless of the color of your complexion you need to wear sunscreen to protect your skin.
