Even though your computer is connected with an excellent signal it won't necessarily connect to the internet if it's not setup properly. If other computers can connect to the wireless network then your wireless router might be secured.
I suggest that you call up the manufacturer of your router since this requires a lot of troubleshooting. If you're using a linksys I can help you with that. My e-mail address is nra.noe29@yahoo.com. Shoot me an e-mail if you have questions.
It can also be problem with your browser by the way. If disabling the proxy settings did not resolve the problem. Try this:
1. Go to the menu and then click on , type in inetwiz.
2. Select Connect using my Local Area Network. Click on
3. In the Local Area Network configuration page do not click on any of the boxes and just click next.
4. Next window will ask if you want to setup an internet mail account. Click and click .
5. Click
This should automatically bring up Internet Explorer. If it still says can't find the page the problem needs further troubleshooting.

Ok, you obviously do not know how the internet works. Your router connects you to the interntet. Without it, you can't even get online. However, the pages on the internet are saved on servers, other people's computers. A page not found error (usually 404) has nothing to do with your end. It means there's a problem with the server.
EDIT:
Changing your browser will do nothing. Like i said, the 404 errors are on the server end, and there is nothing you can do to change them.

mine does that sometime. just give it some time or keep trying to get on the explorer..or disconnect and connect back to it. Make sure the internet light on the router is lit and you have everything set up right.

Concurs with Anish! Make sure that in browsers setting you don’t have „automatically configure proxy,…” (Usually (depending on version): Tools >> Internet Options >> Connection (tab) >> LAN settings (button).
Also it could be number of other reasons:
-someone chewing on your bandwidth
-corrupted firmware in router
-corrupted PC (try deleting old connection icon and making new one)
-malware or attack issue (especially wireless attack)

It might just be that IE sucks(no offense if you really like it). Try installing Mozilla Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/) and see what happens, if the problem persist call your service provider
