When I do not know the name of something, or cannot recall it.
I say...where is that whatchamacalit......exactly what is says...
Where is that thing or whatever I do not remember the name of...
thingamajig.....don't remember the correct name of what it is called.....Like I am looking for a pie pan....what did I do with it?
so, I say where is that thingamajig.
doo-dad...mmm, truthfully in my 67 years have not heard it..
It is probably a word that is used by the younger people....

Well, now you gave me a new one...Lol
It will really freak my family out......I really should stop asking like that.. translation....what every you call it.....what is that thing....
doo-dad.....mmmm.
Again, thanks for the infor...tis not to nice to keep doing that..
New Years R. for me

Hey, I thought it was a do-higgy that was attached to a whatchamacalit on a thingamajig with a doo-dad on a do-whopper. Now you have me really confused.

Oh, now I recall, it's a dingle berry.

No, it was a deely whopper.

I use the whatchamacalit and attach it to the thingamaji and it makes that doo-dad. Does that make sense?
