I sell my dried wood for $150, but I've got friends that sell it for $200.

I think I am going to not go with the flow here and think of the people next door who may have been saving all year for their new patio set. What if they did? I would feel really bad to think about how bad they must feel to see something they may have worked really hard for gone. They probably would have given you the money for the firewood. Plus as someone else said, if you are camping there should be plenty of wood in the area to use as firewood.

The price of firewood varies by your location. A cord of hardwood (Hickory is my favorite) runs about $100 here in MO. The same wood would run about three times as much in CA.

cedar may smell nice, but it is not a good firewood. It burns too fast and does not give a good bed of coals.

Are you talking full or face cord?

Cedar is good for kindling because of it's oils, firewood, no to hot and too fast burning probably good for cleaning out the chimney of soot and creosote and possibly start a chimney fire if it hasn't been cleaned recently.
