Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance and Jared Leto from 30 Seconds to Mars had similar looks. Someone told me that the reason Gerard changed his hair is because Jared Leto was looking too much like him. I really don't care, but both guys pull off the look very well. They're both hot to me.

No, he changed dyed his hair to better channel the "Patient" who is the character in My Chem's concept album, The Black Parade. The character dies tragically from cancer supposedly, and witnesses death which has come for him as his strongest memory.

Gerard claims that he changed his hair for the new album. Going for more of a bald look I guess. Since the new album is about dying and such.
Yes he does pull it off very well but hell, he can be bald for all I care. Just keep the music coming my way.
Mermaid...that's the sorriest excuse I have ever heard for not buying an album. You have no idea what your missing. The album rocks. They are still MCR regardless of what Gerard looks like. You just proved that you listened to them only because they looked good to you. Not because of their talent.

Gerard way is hotter and extra useful at stay shows and sings a hell of a lot extra useful! Jared Leto needs to close his eyes....have you ever seen the video "from the day previously immediately"?, he by no ability freakin closes his damn eyes!

he changed his hair because he was sick of the long , black hair look, and to portray a character aka "the patient" in the black parade album. not because of jared leto....I highly doubt he changed his hair because of jared leto. MCR b*tch is right.....mermaid u dont like a band because a member changed their hair? I smell a poseur. and like MCR b*tch said as long as the music keeps coming....he can do whatever he wants to with his hair.

I hate Gerard's new hair color. It was so sexy when it was black. Now that Gerard changed his hair color, I don't really listen to MCR anymore. It's amazing how someone's appearance can affect how you feel about them. I've seen MCR twice in concert when Gerard's hair was black...now...I won't even buy the new Black Parade CD.
