I think they're great. They are very well written, the characters are likeable (and hateable), it's imaginative and really immerses you into their world. They're total page-turners - when I start reading one I can't put it down unless I absolutely have to - they're so addictive. They may not be literary masterpieces but I think they're excellent for all ages.

The Harry Potter books are great! I kinda ridiculed them at first because of all the hype, but one day I was bored and picked up my niece's copy and was hooked! I can't wait for the next book!

My opinion on the Harry potter series is that it gives a real sense of relief and particular relief that any person can suceed if he has the will to do it.

The books themselves are pretty decent. I just wish they were longer since I finish them in a few days...or at least more frequent. By the time a new book is released, I basically forget half of what happened in the previous one.

They give me headaches! I wait for a year(or two) to read one book..then I finish it in one day...
The only thing that i think J.K.R. needs to change is the size and frequncy of her book releases - say, a 300 page book every year.

They're alright, but they're getting weaker as the series goes on. I can't wait to see how it ends, though!
However, in my opinion, much of the fanfiction my friends have had me read is much better than what it was based on.
