this guy was giving out free porn passwords on a forum and i don't think he payed for them. it looks like he got them from a trader site. if i log in to pay sites using those passwords, will they actually track me down and prosecute me? i'm getting mixed answers, don't give me an answer unless you're pretty sure of it.

If you have a password that doesn't belong to you, this could range from abuse to stealing. If the password was given by someone who subscribed to the site, they will likely just cut him off once they realize this is happening. If the pass belongs to someone else, it is possible you could be prosecuted for online theft, though I'd say the possibility is remote. But, dude, find something better to do with your time.

You don't need advice from me! scenario: This guy was standing on the street, giving out fake identify cation, that would let me draw money from some ones bank account. Will I get caught? Why do you think this is any different? Stealing is stealing!

They will probably not come after you, but if they see a bunch of activity coming from different IP addresses on that password they will disable it. I wouldn't risk it tho.
