From my experience, gay guys are a-hell-of-a-lot-more fun then a regular jock! With my regular jocks friends, if you a girl, you're just an extra body around! I notice that some things you can't be included while "the boys talk!" So I would just whether hang out with my gay friends who doesn't give a rat a** about what they talk about or do! Plus there's never a dull moment with them!

Sorry about the stereotyping, but this IS why I think that girls like gay guys:
1. They don't constantly stare at the girl's cleavage. (hint hint to all of the straight guys out there)
2. Most gays are quite pleasant people.
3. A lot of gays treat girls as an equal, not inferiorly or superiorly
4. Many gay guys that I have seen have a great sense of fun and fashion about them, not like they got dressed in the dark and stubbed their toe while doing so.
My opinions, anyway.

This answer comes from a gay guy. It is simple....girls feel more comfortable around them. They dont have to worry about being hit on, the guy trying to "get with them", they can be themselves, it doesnt matter what they look like around them because there is no sexual attraction. Also it seems that females can confide in gay guys without the worry of judgement being passed on them. And hey lets be honest here, we make great shopping partners and love checking out guys.

It's more of a deep psychological answer than just you know, we like fashion and similiar interests as that's not always quite true.
It's more like...okay, we just know the unique feeling of being attracted to the male gender. We're just on the same mental wavelength if you will and that allows us to connect easily. I frequenly have ESP with my Fag Hags.
And we both get a bit intimidated and threatened by other males too because everybody is a bit insecure about the gender they're attracted too. Like I can never understand how straight boys get all wussy and awkward around a girl they really like when they're so big and bad around other males, but I'm like that around guys I really like..... but with girls I just feel so much relaxed and comfortable.

I know that many girls who aren't interested in relationships find comfort in being able to be around a man who has no possibility of starting to like them. Other than that, it may just be coincidental- girls love to hang out with lots of people!

I wish I knew but my best friend is a gay guy & I can tell him things that I wouldn't admit to any girl friend. I also don't feel like I have to impress him, if he comes over & I'm still in mt pj's he will still want to be my friend he doesn't care how I look.

Because if you find the right one, your self-esteem about being a woman raises exponentially. I mean, gay men make women feel fabulous about themselves because their compliments are genuinely meant, not as a tactic to get you into bed. Many gay male friends I have are excellent respectors of women, are great lovers of women, as everything soft, feminine and wonderful about being womanly is there for the perusal, without judgment for letting their 'masculine' facade down. Women love gay men because with them, they can be themselves, feel things without judgment and know that he'll share their thoughts or at the very least talk about them openly. With a gay man, women can experience manly strength, without the fear of dominance or predatory tendencies. Yeah, it all sounds very text-bookishly, I know. Women who choose gay male friends don't do it because they think less of themselves as women or they fear hetero men, but because they think more of themselves as women who love men as a whole. They are willing to believe that all men aren't insensitive brutes, that they are capable of love and understanding, and that they, as women, do not have to settle for straight men who are anything less than that...And let's not forget the number one reason women love gay men--gay men love to dance!!!!

me and my gaybestfriend have probably wayy too much in common. and i think its the type of relationship that just works. the only famous relationship i can think of is will and grace.. but that type of relationship exists alot more than expected and well go watch the show.. its my life story
