I LOVE MY MICROFIBER FURNITURE!!!!
Actually, microfiber is stain resistant. I have three boys a husband & they are NOT allowed to eat in the livingroom, but then football season hits & that all flys out the door. We also have 6 dogs. I have never treated mine with anything & it still looks brand new. I would call the manufacturer & ask them though. If you use something NOT recommended by them & your furniture has a warrany or anything you could void the warranty or you could use something that makes the microfiber stain like crazy or make it sticky or ???????

Check with the furniture store where you bought it and see what they recommend. I would guess that they probably have information from the manufacturer stating which product would be best used on their couch.

Scotchgard is the famous brand although there are imitations, e.g. Punch, Amway et. al. They all put a fine silicone coating on the fibres.

BUY A CAN OF SCOTCH GARD IT WORKS PRETTY GOOD
