i am a dancer. we wear tights in rehearsal because they are easy to move in and it gets us use to them. since i dance sooo much its like i am not even wearing them anymore. plus, that way the teacher can see the lines and make sure we are doing everything right

beacuse while in practice the teacher can watch the moves of the dancers and correct them more accurately as if wearing non-tight bottoms the teacher will not be able to appreciate the movements- plus tights make movements more exaggerated what is what dancers are looking for

not only dancers but athletes and swimmers also wear tights. It is due to the reason that the muscles are in better control of one self.

actually i dont know. i dance and sometimes i dont even wear my tights to practice. umm when you do spilts during streches sometimes without tights your knees will rub against the floor and you may get a friction burn. the only other reason besides that and warmth is it makes jazz shoes go on easier.

I dance myself and tights are worn in winter or summer to keep you legs warm. They also are a lot easier to dance in then pants and have a cooling effect to them. And second of all, rectials are for little girls. They are called shows or perfomances.

For warmth and support. Cold muscles get injured more easily.
