One problem with open systems is that they are open. Open to anyone, for any reason they choose... I love that. And it may be the demise of the site, or Yahoo may continue to tweak their system to balance it toward more serious users. Not an easy feat.
In any event, these types of forums engender is the ability to quickly scan and weed out the 'noise'. A very beneficial skill these days.
But, more than that, I do like to find the serious questions, and the thoughtful responses. So far, I see a decent balance here of the serious and rediculous...

Ahh the joy of not having the real internet, the one in which you can say whatever you wish without worrying about having your answer be scrutinized and criticized and reported because somebody was a big baby.

Actually I haven't YET seen any questions I would seem as silly, but I've seen plenty of answers that are more than stupid.

So do I and I will start with you, If you don't like the question don't answer it. I find some of these stupid questions to be funny and some of them are writen by young children, so don't be to hard on these people

I would recommend not being so judgemental, and get over it. Noone has griped and complained about you posting up a senseless question like this. Do you realize how many people feel that their time was wasted reading this? Welcome to the freedom of speech country!
